Data Protection Commitment

We prioritize personal data protection, processing information exclusively under legal frameworks including GDPR, Austrian Data Protection Act 2018, and Telecommunications Act 2003.

Image Processing Services

Our service enables users to transform fashion photography using AI technology. This includes model swapping and converting flat-lay images to on-model photography. Users maintain full ownership and control of their input and output images.

Customer Database and Marketing

Existing customers may have their information retained in a customer database for marketing purposes. Under Austrian telecommunications law, we may send promotional communications about similar products to past purchasers unless they object.

Data retention extends three years following the last customer interaction. Legitimate business interests serve as the primary legal basis.

Users may withdraw consent by contacting us at office@piktid.com.

Inquiry Response Procedures

Data processing for product and service inquiries follows pre-contractual measures initiated by the user. Non-contractual inquiries are treated as consent to process information for that specific purpose, with withdrawal rights available.

Retention periods extend six months post-response or until legal disputes conclude. Contract-related inquiries remain stored per applicable warranty, liability, and statute of limitations timeframes.

Website Operations

IP addresses, connection details, browser versions, and operating system information are collected and deleted or anonymized after six months. This protects infrastructure from attacks and enables statistical analysis based on legitimate organizational interests. Users possess objection rights.

IT Infrastructure and Third Parties

Service improvements and equipment maintenance may involve external IT service providers and business consultants with access to personal information. These providers face confidentiality obligations and cannot process data independently. Tax compliance requires engagement of certified tax advisors.

Analytics

We use analytics services to monitor and analyze visitor behavior, improving functionality and aligning services with user needs. Usage data may be transferred to analytics providers under their separate privacy frameworks. Users should review the respective policies of these providers.

Data Deletion

Personal information storage extends only as needed for specified purposes with valid legal bases. Upon purpose fulfillment or legal basis expiration, data deletion from active systems occurs promptly. Backup systems retain data until standard backup restoration occurs.

Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access your personal data
  • Right to correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to processing

The Austrian Data Protection Authority serves as the competent supervisory body for complaints alleging violations of data protection law.
